As part of Adopt-a-Senior-Pet Month, we are offering free adoptions to any senior citizens (65+) who adopt a senior pet. Why this promotion? Well, it's been shown that this is a mutually beneficial pairing - senior animals fit with the rhythm of a senior person's life, and it appear pets provide health benefits for older people.

We have a variety of senior pets at the shelter looking for homes - dogs, cats and even a rabbit!* If you are, or know of, an older person who might enjoy a new furry friend, we'll find the perfect fit.
