Microchip Your Pet Today!

One of the best ways to increase the chances that a lost pet will be found is by having it microchipped. The Montclair Animal Shelter is running a promotional campaign to let folks know about the shelter's microchipping services. The cost of this painless procedure is $20.

The microchip contains a registration number and the phone number of the registry for the Shelter's chips. A handheld scanner reads the radio frequency of the chip and displays this information. An animal shelter or vet clinic that finds your pet can contact the registry to get your name and phone number.*

Bring your pet to the Montclair Township Animal Shelter at 77 North Willow Street to have it microchipped today.
